VOCASTIC
Every once and awhile, a new sound emerges out of nowhere
and makes its presence felt. Incapable of being defined,
and unable to be generically classified, The Undefineable
One remains in a class of his own.
Raised in North York, Ontario, he has gone from performing
piano peices written by great composers to creating his
own original pieces. To fully understand him, you must first
understand his music, for it is the music that serces as his
voice box, and his fingers that play the role of his tongue.
Vocastic often conversed with the pads and pens that had
unarguably accepted him, and it wasn't until the mid 90's
when he was introduced to her...Hip Hop.
From poetics to lyrical format, he spent time effortlessly
transforming his thoughts into verses, and then from verses
into songs. And then at the same time, began to return to
composing, where he would define his own sound. Calendar
pages flipped like the rhymes he would deliver, and time
after time he improved his developing style. And then by
1996, D.N.A. was formed in hopes to join with others that
had shared the same passion. But by 1997, D.N.A. and its
efforts fell through and ceased its plans to attack the
music industry, leaving Vocastic more inspired to
continue with it. From the downfall of D.N.A. to the birth
of the Shining Path, Vocastic continued to write,
expanding his craft towards other genres.
And as the days before him disappear just as fast as they
come, his dreams of taking his talent to the next level
weight heavy. With the dawning of Clear Cut Soul, Vocastic
is set to achieve his projected objective, which is to speak
to people just like the music has spoken to him.
