UZ MAN

UZ man Born Paul Day 1975 in Toronto, Hip Hop Rap artist UZMAN (ooze man) brings strong lyrics mostly dealing with real International issues and has intention to entertain listeners lyric by lyric. He always makes effort to produce his own material because he gets positive feedback from listeners. UZMAN was introduced into music as a baby when his father used to host all night house parties from mid 70’s (which continued into the early 90’s) as he tries to sleep with all that loud disco and vintage reggae. His song Fever is a slight reflection of those days. Going into the 80’s he followed the quick transition of Disco to Funk to Rap to Hip Hop. During these days, at the age of 11 he noticed he had a love and a feel for writing poetry came across a Beat Machine and quickly figured out the mechanics of producing the then basic Rap beats. He always made it a point to be the DJ at all childhood class parties where he’d play all music genres. In the early 90’s he was known as UZI as part of several rap groups and made a city impact with the group “Project Underground” with a live television performance for song “Funky Bogle” that reached national exposure. This received positive feedback from the streets. With a then very weak Canadian Hip Hop supporting environment, major personal problems both family and financial, he was forced to give it up and promised to return when his life and Canadian Hip Hop Industry picks up.

UZMAN planned on creating a buzz in 2009 with his promotional released CD titled “Buzz Creator EP” which he has released to several radio stations around South Western Ontario and certain ones across Canada. UZMAN is currently performing at Open Mic and Showcases like Go Hard or Go Home and looking for more.
