SPORADIC

Sporadic In the 90's, Sporadic started out with the aspirations to be a DJ. That was until one of his friends in his neighbourhood heard that he could rap and pursuaded him to pursue the pen. Since then, Sporadic has not looked back.

A musician that is trained in classical and jazz music, Sporadic has taken his love of hip hop and intergrated it with every form of music he came into contact with. It was during the 90's that he would begin to seriously develop his skills with his crew (now known as the Traz Faculty) by constantly writing, freestyling, performing, recording, and battling. During that time, he would be aligned with some of the most talented emcees in his neighbourhood.

In 2000, Sporadic enrolled into the Humber College Jazz Program, and by 2001 he would be the only emcee to be in their jazz program performing and studying as an emcee. During that time, Sporadic met Sonny Phono through a mutual friend, and they would be on the same bill for a lot of events.

In 2002, Sporadic became one of the hosts of Gladstone What?! after a mock battle with the co-host of the time. Sonny was impressed and offered Sporadic the position of co-host.

In 2004, Sporadic was inducted into the Camp X crew and would see his name on his first official releases under the Camp X brand. During that time, Sporadic would be involved with numerous events in the city.

In 2005, Sporadic became one of the winners of the first Just Entertainment Demo Showcase and would have his track pressed on vinyl, as well would be featured on numerous mixtapes and compilations. Sporadic still records and preforms and is working with various artists from Vancouver to Montreal. He is releasing his e.p. titled "The Alcatraz Bootleg E.P." and is working on other projects with various sponsors like DJ411.ca, Just Ent., and Hustler Avenue.
