P.O.M.S.
P.O.M.S (which is an acronym for Product of my society), was born in the city of Toronto. Living in Toronto educated him early about the struggle and how we have to try extra hard, especially as a minority to stay focused and do something positive with life. Though P.O.M.S was taught to stay focused on school and always have faith in god, P.O.M.S became a statistic and dropped out of school and became active in the streets thinking it was an easier way out the struggle. P.O.M.S aka Stylus or stylez at the time got himself affiliated in a circle of hustlers and if you were buying they were selling. Living the life he was living brought him through some life threatening situations and with a child on the way, P.O.M.S decided it was time for a serious career change and started focusing on straightening his life out and pursuing a career in music which he had a deep passion for. As an ex gang member with a new focus, P.O.M.S uses his music and story to speak for the people in the struggle as well as try to guide people in a positive direction. P.O.M.S has done various fundraisers to help the community and world around him, like the summer affair for miracle babies, The Emerge fundraiser for the kids in Kenya and Brazil and for the youth center awareness showcase. P.O.M.S performed at many of the cities hottest venues like seven night club, El Mocombo, and Suba lounge to name a few. P.O.M.S is exactly what his name states and captivates listeners with a fresh vibe that many have grown to love. P.O.M.S is the new voice of the people.
