MISTA BOURNE
Mista Bourne aka Bourne aka M-R Dot born November 1st, 1983 in Toronto Canada, is an upcoming hip
hop artist looking to TAKEOVER the DOT. Representing the company Takeover Records, his squad Mad
Fam and his family Smoke Click, Bourne who has surprisingly picked up his pen and pad only 3 years
ago, is lyrically and mentally ready to take the crown, as he would call it "HOV THA GAME". Raised
in Rexdale, Bourne naturally has the hood in him, but at the same time is respected all around and
has the business mindset needed to succeed. Bourne has many musical influences, but when asked to
name three... “Jay-Z, Fab and Wayne in that order” he says.
Bourne is and will always be 100% behind his squad M.A.D. F.A.M. (Money Above Drugs Family Above
Money) mainly consisting of himself, Maddi and Massy. Maddi who comes with that strong lyrical
content, and the ability to come up with stupid hooks, which just happens to be lacking in Toronto
based hip hop, and Massy who brings that straight hood/gangsta/hustla feel to every track are both
also read... excuse me... BIN ready for the LIMELIGHT. Together they are MAD FAMILY. With the work
ethic of this camp, they are sitting on enough material to drop at least 3 mix tapes right now.
But the have patiently waited and are going to drop 1 mix tape of straight fire. Release Date: 4th
quarter 2005 or 1st quarter 2006 and has yet to be titled.
Mista Bourne has been grinding on the side and is about to drop his first solo mixtape titled:
Tired of Waitin, 1st quarter 2006. Filled with ill content and delivery from beginning to end,
Tired of Waitin should not be slept on and should be recognized thoroughly throughout the city as
it is a "BREATH OF FRESH AIR". Already creating a buzz for himself and his upcoming mix tape by
flooding the streets with the Take Over Records Presents... Mista Bourne promo CD, Bourne is
getting mad love and positive feedback.
So look out for this upcoming artist and The Fam to be dropping some jaws and turning some heads
within the next year.
