LOCKSMITH
Locksmith is at the forefront of the new breed of hip hop music that is currently on the rise and destined to be
the future of popular music. Their sound is a combination of authentic street delivery along with a style of
music that is pleasurable to the ear.
Lyrics of the highest caliber flow effortlessly from the group's two orators; Divine Ayatollah and Ilord the
Original Man. The duo have been honing their skills throughout Southern Ontario since the early nineties and
have risen from head to head battles in high school cafeterias, to combining their efforts in spearheading
Hamilton's most recognized group, The Black Arm Brigade. Backed with a solid foundation in music production
acquired at the Trebas Institute of Music Technology, B.A.B entered the game in the year 2000 with the
underground hit "BIGGATHANTHAT". The album "Longevity" was independently released in July 2001 creating a
regional buzz and a demand for more material. This attention prompted the original founders of the crew to
regroup and develop the refined presentation; Locksmith.
Equipped with charismatic stage personality, and a rugged sex appeal, Locksmith is focused on penetrating the
urban market and solidifying themselves as icons in the music industry.
