KLASS-SIK

Klass-Sik Born in Moscow, Russia on June 4, 1986 when the communist regime was nearing the end of its hold on the former war torn Soviet Union. In 1989, Klass-Sik along with his mother, father, and older brother immigrated to Canada to escape the communist rule.

After settling in Winnipeg's notorious north end, his parents soon divorced and his father along with his older brother moved to Toronto, leaving him to be raised by a single mother. Klass-Sik would go to Toronto for months at a time to stay with his father who worked as a taxi driver until his father left back to Russia for good. Both places were considered home. Although at the age of 16 after frequent encounters with the local law enforcement, Klass-Sik moved to Toronto permanently.

At a young age, a love for music developed into the basis for his future focus, he started writing music at the age of 14 and had a lot to say. Winning local battles mixed with the love for the music fueled his desire to be the best. Performing at Importfest 2006 at the Rogers centre in Toronto was the foundation to building a dream. Still on the hustle, Klass-Sik has been making a name for himself, and proving with raw talent that he is someone to look out for.
