COLOSSUS!! If you don't know, you better ask somebody!! The word on da streets is that Colossus is the hottest emcee to have
entered the hip-hop scene in a very long time. Straight out of the dungeons of rap, this emcee is getting ready to drop the
most anticipated EP of the year entitled, "USHOULDKNOME"
Colossus was founded by the independent label Catlaced Records through an open mic session where he tore the roof with his
energetic performance and silenced even the most articulate emcees with his compelling lyrics. Colossus's smooth lyrical flow
made it easy for Catlaced Records to see that he is one of the illest emcees around and was later signed. This is Colossus first
release ever to hit the streets and he is ready to show the world what he is capable of, are you ready?
Colossus's EP features 5 hot new tracks "USHOULDKNOME,"This is 4 & Too Hot (Featuring Candy Apple) & Crazy this EP also includes
two bonus tracks entitled Platinum Baby (featuring Curtis Blade) & Crazy which is only available on the EP CD. These hot new
tracks are guaranteed to tear da clubs up and keep yall coming back for more. The title track "USHOULDKNOME", is an energetic,
fast paced, wild out type of song that allows Colossus to display his high energy level and his lyrical talent like no other
rapper around. Colossus goes from line to line rapping about why you should know him, his journey through life as a hustler
and his love for rap, with lyrics like: "Yo! It's my life so you know I'm calling the shots, Yo! It's your life so I know you
calling up cops." and lyrics like "You thought you was hot until I came and blew up the spot" Lyrics as hot as these will
definitely get you in the mood to wild out. In Colossus's second song entitled, "This iz 4" Colossus gets live over this beat,
swicthing topics from money,girls,cars en ice,with lyric's like: " I sell records quick,now yall wanna steal my hits,take the
fame when I'm done yall could have my name."Colossus is gurenteed to make it too the top. The last song on the EP is entitled
"Too Hot" (featuring Candy Apple), Colossus flips his style of rapping over a West Coast beat, as he talks about ballers, thugs
and hustlers, with lyrics like: "Anit on top of the world right now, but I'm on top of ya girl right now." By flipping his style
of rapping in "Too Hot," Colossus shows his versatility and his flexibility to rap in any style and make it the style that
everyone wants to hear. The bonus tracks which are entitled "Crazy." & "Platinum Baby" Colossus takes a basic beat and some
tight lyrics and turns it into a song that can make anyone get out of there seats with lyrics like "Would you die for me hit
that guy for me , I know you heard it before, but would you hit that guy for me ." "Crazy," is a song in which Colossus expresses
his love for his people and the lengths at which he would go to, to protect them. The bonus track entitled "Platinum Baby"
(Available only on the CD EP). Colossus raps over more of a club type of beat, rapping about how his game is HOT. With lyrics
like "Peep the stezz, peep the doe to crazy, shorty if you look good then you could hang with me.".Just like "Crazy,"
"Platinum Baby" is a perfect example of how deep lyrics and a simplistic rhythm can combine to make a song that can move anyone.
Future plans: Colossus is currently working on a video for the EP title track "USHOULDKNOME," which is scheduled for the release
date late September 2000. Still being in the process of putting his finishing touches on his album a release date has yet to
scheduled but it's gonna be hot yall guaranteed.
These songs have been receiving an overflow of response and request from college radio listeners, creating a buzz in the music
industry with a high demand for at an album. Requested on such legendary Hip-Hop shows such as the Power Move Show 88.1, The
Master Plan Show 89.5, CHRY 105.5 and 100.7. But this being a promotional product the material was only available on CD; this
has DJ's and club DJ's waiting for the EP vinyl explosive (CD EP also available). However with all the circumstances hand, DJ's
